OSBA GOTW Game Notes | C.O.D.E. Academy vs. Polaris Prep

By Rostine Vahid 02/15/2024, 11:30am EST

  • Polaris Prep will look to avenge their first loss of the season this Thursday against C.O.D.E Academy in the OSBA game of the week. In the first matchup between the two teams, C.O.D.E Academy won on Polaris Prep home court and walked away with the victory 92 COD - 87 PP.

  • C.O.D.E Academy has hit a rough patch in their season losing three of their last five games. Two of the losses were in extremely close games that were decided by one possession.

  • C.O.D.E Academy Amare Allen has been a scoring machine all season. Amare Allen is currently second in points per game in the Men’s Trillium league averaging  23 points while shooting a scorching  49% from the field.

  • Polaris Preps Tyler Brown has been a two way force all year. Brown leads Polaris Prep in scoring with 16 points per game. Brown also leads the team in rebounds with 8 per game and steals with 3. Leading the team on both ends of the court.

  • C.O.D.E Academy has a very packed schedule  this week. Playing three games over four days. Polaris Prep is busy as well playing two games from the 13th to the 15th. Both teams are neck and neck in the standings and with the OSBA championship coming up this is a good chance for either team to lock up that fourth spot for the playoffs.
