OSBA Game of the Week Postgame Notes | Bond Academy vs. J. Addison 11/30

In their second meeting of the season J.Addison got the better of Bond Academy 75-52 and moved to 6-0 on the season while Bond Academy fell to 3-2.

J.Addison set the tone early by playing a full court press defense which they kept up for the whole game.

The first half was mostly back and forth with each team getting stops and trying to find a way to score on the other end. With 5:18 left in the second quarter J.Addison head coach Christopher Francis called a timeout after Bond Academy went on a run to take the lead 25-24. After the timeout J.Addison would out score Bond Academy 20-2 to take a commanding lead 44-27 heading into half time.

The second half was closer with Bond Academy holding J.Addison to 31 points but the lead was too large going into half time for Bond Academy to make it a close one.

Much like their first meeting of the season J.Addison defense was suffocating, holding Bond Academy to 52 points and forcing turnover after turnover.

Anaiyah Fletcher led Bond Academy in scoring with 16 points.

Kymora Stafford was active with the ball dropping 14 points.

J.Addison finished the night with 5 double digit scores.

J.Addison’s Nadia Moore was the leading scorer for both teams with 17 points,

The Smith sisters were very active scoring the ball with Courtney pouring in 14 points and Heidi dropping 13.
