2018-19 OSBA TEAM PREVIEWS

TRC ACADEMY (WOMEN)

3 POINTS

1. Senior players Aerial Wilson and Makayla Ennis are looking to finish their OSBA careers on a high note this season. Watch out for both of these stars as they put their finishing touches on incredible careers at TRC Academy.

2. After falling to Lincoln Prep in the finals last season, the Wolfpack will be hungry for another chance at being crowned OSBA Champions

3. With their two best players heading into their final OSBA year, TRC will attempt to incorporate the incoming recruiting class to revamp their bench and prepare for the future.

WOMEN ON THE SPOT

Aerial Wilson is a co-team captain for the Wolfpack and brings  her experience playing for Team Ontario, Canada Basketball and playing in the OSBA. Wilson's  unique combination of leadership, facilitation, and rebounding at the point guard position make her one of the best guards in the league.

Makayla Ennis is the other co-captain of the team, and the 2018 OSBA MVP. Ennis has continued to grow this past summer with her travel to Belarus on Canada Basketball’s U17 team. She brings length and speed along with her ability to run the fast break for easy baskets for her team.

THE BOTTOM LINE

TRC Academy has all the qualities to make another OSBA title run this season. The Wolfpack bring back both of their top players with  vital experience at the provincial and nation level this past summer. Look for TRC Academy  to take their play to another level this year.
