2018-19 OSBA Team Previews

FATHER HENRY CARR (MEN)

3 POINTS

1. FHC Prep finished third from the bottom in the OSBA last season with a 3-13 (Win-Loss) record, and the Crusaders are determined to bounce back in 2018-19.

2. The Crusaders are a high-pressure defensive team, that feeds off turnovers from their opponents to facilitate their up-tempo style of play.

3. The Crusaders may have one of the deepest benches in the league, with multiple players capable of a major impact on any given night.

MEN ON THE SPOT

Josh Morgan (6’1 SG) will lead the team on both sides of the ball. His calm demeanour allows him to play composed defensively and dissect each type of opponent's defence the Crusaders will face throughout the year.

Markus Harding (6’8 PF) is a two-way player that provides size, length and an inside presence for the Crusaders. Harding is looking to take the next step going into his second season with FHC Prep, and will be an impact player on both ends of the court.

THE BOTTOM LINE

FHC Prep should be much better than last season and striving to be a legitimate contender for the 2019 OSBA Championship. The Crusaders return key members of the roster which should allow for the team to get off to a solid start to the campaign right off the tip-off. Their pressure defence and aggressiveness on both sides of the ball should allow them to dictate the tempo of the game, and keep playing at their pace by using a deep bench to keep fresh players on the floor at all times.
