Men’s OSBA

Although there were only three games on the men’s side this week, we were treated to a couple of big time performances. In a race for the top spot Ignas Brazdeikis took matters into his own hands scoring 50 points against 10th place Vaughan S.S. as Orangeville tries to solidify their place as the #1 team. On the other side Kascius Small-Martin had a night of his own as he dropped 35 points in the defeat. Continuing reading below for a recap of this week’s action:   


 

Orangeville Prep (109) vs Vaughan S.S. (104) Saturday, March 11th, 2017

  • Orangeville Prep: Ignas Brazdeikis 50 points, Keshaun Saunders 21 points, Aaryn Rai 17 points, Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe 13 points
  • Vaughan S.S.: Kascius Small-Martin 35 points, James Canlas 27 points, William Tran 15 points, Wazir Latiff 15 points
  • The win keeps Orangeville Prep (15-1) atop the standings; Vaughan (3-12) stays in 10th

 

 

Bill Crothers S.S. (87) vs TRC Academy (95) Tuesday, March 14th, 2017

  • Bill Crothers S.S.: Jayden Coke 19 points, Stefan Smith 16 points, Paris Shand 14 points, Emanuel Miller 14 points
  • TRC: Antoine Vernon 27 points, Deon Ejim 15 points, Matt Grace 15 points, Brandon John 10 points
  • The win ties TRC Academy (14-2) with Athlete Institute for 2nd in the league; Bill Crothers S.S. (11-4) isn’t far behind in 3rd place

 

 

King’s Christian Collegiate (92) vs Vaughan S.S. (99) Thursday, March 16th, 2017

  • King’s Christian Collegiate: Coleman Stucke 28 points, Luka Sakota 22 points, Shamar Walker 14 points
  • Vaughan S.S: William Tran 24 points, James Canlas 21 points, Wazir Latiff 15 points. O’Shane Taylor-Douglas 13 points, Kascius Small-Martin 13 points
  • King’s Christian Collegiate (0-16) sits in last place; Vaughan S.S. (4-13) is in 10th.
