The OSBA Game of the Week (GOTW) schedule features two top matchups in the Men's East and West divisions. The first matchup takes place on Tuesday, with Royal Crown facing Crestwood in a battle between the top two seeds in the East Division. The GOTW action concludes on Thursday night with a cross-division showdown in Cobourg, as the No. 1 seed in the West, Ridley College, takes on the No. 3 seed in the East, William College.

ROYAL CROWN VS CRESTWOOD PREPARATORY COLLEGE

  • Tip-Off: Tuesday, February 18th at 7: 00 p.m EST
  • Location: Crestwood Preparatory College in North York
  • Division: OSBA Men’s East Division

ROYAL CROWN

Royal Crown enters the game with a 9–1 record, holding the No. 1 spot in the East. The Lions are coming off a 90–80 GOTW victory over Hodan Prep last Tuesday, marking their secondstraight win. The team has rebounded well since suffering its only loss of the season to Crestwood in January. A key factor behind Crown's dominance is its offensive depth. In the win against Hodan, Kymani Walters and Yann Aphely led the scoring with 16 points each, while Xavier Istomin- Monroe contributed 12 points. With such a deep rotation, any player can step up to lead the offence on a given night. Tonight, Royal Crown will aim to showcase that depth against Crestwood and avenge its earlier loss this season.

ADDITIONAL PLAYERS TO WATCH:

  • Justus Haseley: Averaging 4.0 assists per game (6th), ranked No. 8 on the MVP watch list

CRESTWOOD PREPARATORY COLLEGE

Crestwood Prep holds a 6–4 record and is ranked No. 2 in the East. The team is coming off a huge 102–97 win against William Academy over the weekend, which propelled them past William into second place in the standings. Leading Crestwood on offence was forward Mangok Lok Gach, who delivered another outstanding performance. Lok Gach scored 26 points in the victory, while guard Colton Crowdis added 17 points in support. Crestwood will need to have another efficient game on both ends of the floor to upset Royal Crown for a second time this season.

ADDITIONAL PLAYERS TO WATCH:

  • Christopher Tshibola: Averaging 22.8 points per game, dropped 28 points vs Orangeville (Jan 12)
  • Ben Van Bulck: Averaging 1.5 blocks per game, tied for sixth in the league.

Tuesday’s East Division game features the top two teams in a high-stakes showdown. Will Royal Crown avenge its only loss of the season, or will Crestwood defeat the No. 1 seed for a second time?

RIDLEY COLLEGE VS WILLIAM ACADEMY

  • Tip-Off: Tuesday, February 20th at 7: 00 p.m EST
  • Location: William Academy in Cobourg
  • Division: OSBA Men’s East and West Division

RIDLEY COLLEGE

Ridley College enters Thursday’s matchup with a 7–3 record, holding the No. 1 spot in the West. The team is looking to bounce back from back-to-back losses to Hodan Prep and Polaris Prep. However, there’s no time to dwell, as William Academy presents another tough challenge. Despite the loss to Polaris, Ridley had some standout individual performances. Guard Griffin Collinson led all scorers with an impressive 37-point performance, while Caleb Roberts contributed 23 points in support. If Ridley can replicate that offensive production on Thursday, William Academy will have a hard time keeping up.

ADDITIONAL PLAYERS TO WATCH:

  • Quinten Ethier: Averaging 1.4 blocks per game, tied for seventh in the league
  • Jaxen Baker: Averaging 3.8 assists per game, ranked seventh in the league

WILLIAM ACADEMY

William Academy enters Saturday’s matchup with a 6–5 record, ranked No. 3 in the East. The team dropped to third after a weekend loss to Crestwood but rebounded with an 82–69 win over Orangeville on Monday. With a victory against Ridley College—and a Crestwood loss to Royal Crown—William Academy could reclaim second place in the standings. Guard Efeosa Oliogu has been explosive on offence recently. He led all scorers with 34 points in the loss to Crestwood and dropped 27 points as William Academy’s top scorer in the win over Orangeville. Ranked No. 4 on the MVP watch list, Oliogu has an opportunity to bolster his resume with a strong performance against the West’s top team, Ridley College.

ADDITIONAL PLAYERS TO WATCH:

  • Keoni Sacco: Dropped 12 points against Orangeville and 20 points against Crestwood Prep
  • Tristan Darko: Averaging 4.4 assists per game (5th), ranked No. 9 on the MVP watch list

Thursday’s game is a crucial matchup for both teams. Can William Academy position itself to reclaim second place in the East, or will Ridley College bounce back from two straight losses and regain its rhythm?
