Kenyon St. Louis is a name that is quickly becoming one of the brightest young stars in Canadian basketball. Standing at just 6’0”, the sophomore point guard is a beast on both ends of the floor; showing a mix of skill, grit and national level leadership that is hard to ignore. Whether he is lighting it up in the OSBA Men’s Trillium Division or putting on a show in the Jr. High Performance D-League, St. Louis is proving he is not just good for his age— he is just flat-out good.
In 2024, Kenyon was a part of Team Ontario’s U15 Boys gold medal team as they competed at the Canada Basketball National Championships in Toronto this past summer. His stellar play earned him MVP honours, highlighting his ability to perform under pressure and deliver when it matters most. Additionally, he was a member of the 2023 gold medal team, further showcasing his consistency and skill at the national level. Representing his province on the national stage showed his poise, talent, and ability to lead, setting the tone for his rise as one of the country’s premier young talents.
Kenyon St. Louis is not just making noise in one league—he is tearing it up in two. He is equally as comfortable leading his team in high-pressure OSBA matchups as he is putting on a show dunking in D-League games. Between his standout performances in the OSBA Men’s Trillium Division and the Jr. High Performance D-League, St. Louis is displaying versatility and consistency that few players can match.
What makes him so special is his ability to adapt, “Kenyon is a tremendous player with a high IQ; he’s able to score at all three levels,” said his coach. “He’s a great leader and a pass-first point guard, but when we need a bucket or a steal, he’s able to make plays down the stretch.” Whether it is nailing a three, dishing a clutch assist, or locking down on defense, St. Louis has already earned a reputation as the go-to guy. His ability to perform under pressure sets him apart.
Kenyon St. Louis is not just showing up in the Jr. High Performance D-League— he is showing out. As a sophomore, St. Louis is showing a level of maturity and skill that makes him stand out well beyond his age group. His scoring ability is unreal. He is not just knocking down shots—but he is making the tough ones look easy. Last session, he threw down his first in-game dunk, then followed it up with another in the same game. That is the kind of performance that gets your attention. Averaging 25.38 points per game and shooting an impressive 59.52% from the field, 45.83% from beyond the arc, and 59.46% from the line, St. Louis has been nearly unstoppable on the court.
But it is not just his scoring that makes him special. His defense is just as impressive. He is active all over the court, picking pockets and going coast to coast, turning steals into fast breaks. St. Louis knows how to affect the game in a big way. His ability to force turnovers and shut down opposing players has made him a nightmare on defense. Against players his age, Kenyon is already a standout. With the way he has been playing, it is clear why he third leading scorer in the OSBA Men’s Trillium division and ranked fifth in assists.
Kenyon St. Louis is making serious waves in the OSBA. As a sophomore playing up for Full Circle Basketball Academy, his numbers are hard to ignore. Averaging 24.5 points, 3.2 steals, and 5.7 assists per game, he is the third-leading scorer and fifth in assists in the OSBA Trillium Division. But it is not just about the stats—Kenyon is stepping up and leading his team to big wins against older, more experienced players, proving he has what it takes when the game is on the line.
Kenyon’s talent is not just turning heads in his local leagues. In addition to playing with Team Ontario, he is also getting valuable experience playing with Canada Elite on the Under Armour Next Circuit, where he averaged 10.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists over eight games. His strong performances have caught the attention of NCAA programs like Toledo and has earned him an invite to the U16 Canada Basketball assessment camp. Scouts and coaches are already seeing him as a player with major potential on the international stage.
Despite all the attention, Kenyon stays humble and focused on improvement. “When I’m playing up, I’m not handling the ball as much, so my teammates know to find me when I’m open,” he says. His team-first approach, paired with a relentless work ethic, has earned him respect from coaches, teammates, and scouts alike.
Kenyon St. Louis is not just a name to watch—he is already making a serious impact. Whether he is leading the charge in the OSBA, dominating the Jr. High Performance D League, or repping Team Ontario, he is proving that his talent and work ethic can take him to the next level.
