Capital Courts Academy solidified their dominance with an impressive 68-36 win over J. Addison. The victory extended CCA’s undefeated streak to 6-0, earning them the top spot in the East Division standings. Capital Courts fast pace and elite caliber talent proved too much for J. Addison, despite a strong effort. Though the home team came out strong, they ultimately couldn’t match the intensity of the now No. 1 ranked CCA squad.

J. Addison: Abriel Grant-Caracas stood out with 12 points, while Kiran Brar and Amiya Moses added 10 each.

Coach Fabienne of CCA emphasized the importance of growth, stating, “The goal is to get 2% better every day and to have fun with the game too because once you get to the next level, you forget to enjoy the little things.”

Crestwood Prep continued their undefeated streak with a hard-fought 72-55 victory over St. Jude’s Academy. Both teams entered the game without a loss, but Crestwood’s ability to adjust in-game proved to be the difference-maker.

St. Jude’s Academy: National team member Chanté Murray matching Arije’s effort with 20 points of her own. Stephanie Galikowski also contributed 14 points in a valiant effort to keep her team in contention.

Crestwood’s Coach Marlo reflected on the team’s growth, saying, “Having a new group, there’s a lot of new faces. I thought they got off to a great start, and we’re starting to find our stride. The room for us to get better is still very high, and the growth of the team has been super exciting to watch.”
Crestwood, now 6-0 and ranked No. 1 in the West, has established itself as a championship favorite and is on the hunt for a three-peat. St. Jude’s Academy remains in the top four with a 4-1 record, showing promise as the season progresses.
