The Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA) is excited to announce the upcoming 2022 OBSA Final 8 Championships will be played at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Centre (Durham College / Ontario Tech University) in Oshawa from March 3 to 6.

The OSBA Final 8 Championships will showcase the top high-school aged basketball talent in Canada, with scouts and media in attendance. All games will be livestreamed on OSBA TV. Directions to the gym, ticket information, COVID-19 protocols and the event schedule are below.

Directions to the Campus Recreation & Wellness Centre (CRWC)

The address for the Campus Recreation & Wellness Centre is 21 Avenue of Champions, Oshawa, ON L1G 8C4. It is recommended to access the campus via Conlin Rd to the north. Parking is available in lots ‘Founders 2’ and ‘Founders 3’ and wayfinding signs for OSBA Final 8 will be posted around the campus directing patrons to the CRWC from the parking lots.

Admissions

Tickets for this event can be purchased ONLY through Eventbrite. To limit in-person contact, spectators are asked to purchase tickets prior to arrival to the facility and show proof of purchase at the door.

Limited spots available for media. Media are REQUIRED to register by March 1st, 2022 at 11:59pm.

COVID-19 Protocols

The proof of COVID-19 vaccination policy remains in effect for all visitors to the campus. Please come prepared to demonstrate proof of vaccination (with QR code) with one piece of ID. Masks will be required at all times for spectators, staff, volunteers and coaches. Athletes and officials may remove their masks when on the court.

Even though the province has announced the lifting of proof of vaccination requirements effective March 1, 2022, Durham College and Ontario Tech University reserve the right to still require proof of vaccination [and other protocols] for all visitors to their campuses after March 1. OSBA Final 8 patrons are asked to respect the schools’ protocols and the campus staff responsible for enforcement.
